We have developed a working relationship with Ben over many years since Ben and Ruth were involved in the early performances of Earthfall, the Cardiff based Dance company run by Jim Ennis and Jessica Cohen.  Ben Davis studied at the Guildhall & later at the Banff School of Fine Arts with Dave Holland. Has since pursued a varied musical career encompassing classical, world, pop, early & jazz. He has played with Django Bates, Hassan Erraji, The Dufay Collective, Evan Parker, Christine Tobin, Steve Buckley, Huw Warren, Jason Yarde, Kylie Minogue, Julian Joseph, the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra & the R.S.C.

He has appeared on records by Claire Martin, Jamiroquai, Ingrid Laubrock, Julia Biel, Patricia Kass, D-Influence & the Ben Davis Group which was featured on Jazz On 3.As a part of the

F-ire collective he has established an international reputation as a musician and composer and with his jazz group Basquiat Strings he was shortlisted for a Mercury award in 2008.
